Can I use self-hosted Jitsi Meet with this plugin?
Yes. With our plugin, you can use the free API from Jitsi Meet, JaaS, or self-hosted Jitsi Meet. Learn about the Jitsi Meet Free, JaaS 8x8, and self-hosted server settings.
Can I record the meeting?
You can record meetings on our premium version (also requires JaaS 8*8 premium plan).
How many active users can I have?

You can have unlimited active users on the free version, but the participants are limited to 100/meetings.

When you have a JaaS (Jitsi as a Service) subscription, 25 monthly active users are free, 300 on basic, 1500 on JaaS Standard, and 3000 on the Business package. Participants are limited to JaaS 500/meetings. To increase the limit, you will need to change your plan according to your need.

You can have as many sessions as you want for self-hosting. It depends on where you host the Jitsi Meet server and how many resources you can allocate. Although Jitsi suggested, 75 participants can attend the meetings flawlessly. But you can manage thousands of meetings based on the resources allocated to your server.

Where will my meeting recordings be stored?
Users have only Dropbox to store the recording on the free version, But JaaS has Dropbox with Google cloud.
Can I do live streaming?
Yes, You can do live streaming on YouTube from the Meeting.
Is there a way to randomize the name of the room?
You can add a shortcode without the name attribute on it (Ex: [jitsi-meet-wp width="1080" height="720"] ) to generate a random room name.
I find JaaS 8*8 API too expensive for my liking. Is there any cheaper option?
