1.3 Information from Google Services
When you choose to connect your Google account for the Google Sheets integration, FormyChat requests only the minimum necessary permissions (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets).
This allows us to:
- Read and write data to the specific Google Sheets you explicitly select and connect
- Sync form submission data from FormyChat to your chosen spreadsheet
We only access the spreadsheets you authorize. We do not access your other Google files, emails, contacts, Drive files, or any unrelated Google services.
We securely store the OAuth access token and refresh token on your WordPress site (in the database) to maintain the integration. These tokens are encrypted where possible. You can revoke access at any time from the plugin settings or directly from your Google Account security settings.
Limited Use Disclosure
FormyChat’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, operate, and maintain FormyChat
- authenticate your identity and manage your connected account
- enable Google Sheets integration and related syncing functionality
- improve application performance, usability, and reliability

We share the data you authorize with Google only as part of the normal operation of the Google Sheets API (for example, sending form data to your selected spreadsheet).
