This guide walks you through translating any text string in the Flextable plugin using the Loco Translate plugin. Follow these steps to localize Flextable into your desired language and provide a fully translated experience for your users.
✅ Step 1: Install and Activate Loco Translate #
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to Plugins → Add New.
- Search for “Loco Translate”.
- Click Install Now, then click Activate.

🔍 Step 2: Locate the Flextable Plugin #
- In the WordPress dashboard, go to Loco Translate → Plugins.
- Locate Flextable in the list of installed plugins and click on it.

🌐 Step 3: Create or Edit a Language #
- Click New language to create a new translation, or select an existing language to update.

- Choose your target language (e.g., French, Spanish, German).

- Click Start Translating.
✏️ Step 4: Translate the Strings #
- The Loco Translate editor will display all available text strings from Flextable.
- Click the string you want to translate.
- Enter your translated text in the field at the bottom.
- Click Save after completing your translations.

Your translated strings will now appear on your site wherever Flextable displays them. #

If you add new features or update the plugin, revisit Loco Translate to update and translate any new strings.
